Fresh from finishing the story about the 1979 NASCAR season, just finished The Limit , about the 1961 Formula 1 season and American Phil Hill’s run to the World Championship. Remarkable how easily drivers perished back in the day.
Not sure what is with all the reading of late and folks might well point out how incredibly out of my normal subject range I am going–or not.
Great Xmas gift from mom and dad though, excellent find. The author Michael Cannell did a great job even though as he points out in the acknowledgment that he’s just a journalist, not a (“I live in new York, and don’t even own a car…”) racing or auto enthusiast.
