Having lived through the avocado refrigerator and autumn gold stove, I think stainless steel will be around for awhile. Our stainless steel SubZero is now 18 years old…I think people keep their appliances longer now, and ice white may be attractive (it is), but one might get tired of keeping it clean for 15 years or so.
